What we collect, how we use it, and how to contact us
6ure ("we", "us", "our") explains here what personal data we handle, why we handle it, and how you can exercise your rights. We do not sell your personal data. For privacy requests, email contact@6ureleaks.com.
In short
- We run the 6ure site and related services (Wiki, Requests, Resources, Password hub, memberships, application forms, Download page). Sign-in is via Discord OAuth.
- We collect your Discord profile data (user ID, username, avatar, email linked to Discord), content you submit, payment identifiers, and technical data (IP address, browser/device info).
- We use cookies for authentication sessions and preferences. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
- Purchases and memberships are processed by PayPal or Stripe depending on your choice at checkout. We never store full card numbers or CVV codes. Creator payouts are delivered via PayPal.
- You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
1. Overview
This policy covers all visitors and registered users of our website (6ureleaks.com), associated platforms (Wiki, Requests, Resources, Password hub, Download page), application forms, and our Discord server integrations. For questions or to exercise privacy rights, contact contact@6ureleaks.com.
2. What we collect
We collect the following categories of data:
A. Account and identity data (via Discord OAuth)
- Discord user ID — unique numeric identifier
- Username and display name
- Avatar URL
- Email address associated with your Discord account
- Discord guild membership and roles (to verify membership status and sync access)
B. Content you submit
- Resource uploads, request submissions, and comments
- Wiki contributions and edits
- Application form responses (e.g. staff applications, creator applications)
- Support messages and contact form submissions
C. Payment and subscription data
- Subscription status, plan category (Premium or Protection), billing interval, and transaction IDs
- PayPal email or Stripe customer ID (provided by the payment processor)
- Invoice identifiers and partial payment method details (e.g. last 4 digits of card)
- We do not store full card numbers, CVV codes, or bank account details
D. Technical and usage data
- IP address — logged for security, rate limiting, and abuse prevention
- Browser type and version, operating system, device type
- Pages visited, timestamps, referral source
- Actions performed (e.g. downloads, requests submitted, votes)
E. Communication data
- Emails you send us, support ticket contents, and your Discord messages sent to our bots (where applicable)
3. Cookies and local storage
We use cookies and browser local/session storage for the following purposes:
- Authentication session cookie — keeps you logged in; essential for the service to function. Expires when you log out or after the session timeout.
- CSRF token cookie — protects against cross-site request forgery; essential.
- Preference cookies — remember your theme, language, and cookie consent choices.
- Local storage — stores UI preferences (e.g. sidebar state, billing toggle position) and cached settings to improve performance.
We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. We do not run Google Analytics or similar third-party analytics services that track you across sites.
4. How we use your data
We use the data we collect to:
- Operate, maintain, and improve our services (account management, content delivery, feature development)
- Process memberships, payments, and creator payouts
- Verify your identity and Discord membership/roles for access control
- Enforce our Terms of Service and community rules
- Prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access (IP-based rate limiting, account security)
- Communicate with you about your account, transactions, or support requests
- Comply with legal obligations (tax records, DMCA requirements, law enforcement requests)
5. Sharing and third-party services
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share data only in the following circumstances:
- Discord — authentication, role syncing, guild membership verification. (Discord Privacy Policy)
- PayPal — payment processing and creator payouts. (PayPal Legal Hub)
- Stripe — payment processing for card payments. (Stripe Privacy Policy)
- Hosting provider — our servers and database are hosted by infrastructure providers who may process data on our behalf under data processing agreements.
- Email service — transactional emails (payment confirmations, account notifications) may be sent via a third-party email provider.
- Legal requirement — we may disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect rights and safety.
6. Payments and billing
Paid features (Premium, Protection) are described at checkout. Depending on your choice, payments are processed by PayPal or by Stripe, Inc. and its affiliates. We do not receive or store your full card number or security code; the processor handles payment credentials under its own terms.
We receive from processors: confirmation of payment, subscription IDs, partial payment method details (e.g. last 4 digits, expiry), and contact information needed to deliver service, prevent fraud, and meet accounting obligations.
Creator payouts are processed via PayPal. If you receive payouts, we store your PayPal email address for this purpose.
7. Data retention
- Account data — retained for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, we remove your account data within 30 days (except where legal obligations require longer retention).
- Content submissions (requests, uploads, Wiki edits) — retained as long as they remain published; deleted content is purged within 90 days.
- Payment records — retained for up to 7 years to meet tax and accounting requirements.
- Security logs (IP addresses, access logs) — retained for up to 12 months, then automatically purged.
- Support communications — retained for up to 2 years after resolution.
8. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including:
- HTTPS encryption for all data in transit
- Database access restricted to authorized services only
- Hashed and secured session tokens
- Rate limiting and IP-based abuse prevention
- Regular backups with restricted access
No system is 100% secure. If we become aware of a data breach that affects your personal data, we will notify affected users and relevant authorities as required by applicable law.
9. Children's privacy
Our services are not intended for individuals under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required by applicable law in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, contact us immediately and we will delete it.
10. International data transfers
Our servers may be located in different jurisdictions. By using our services, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for any such transfers.
11. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
